The Melting Pot (Room 206): With diversity in age and backgrounds, including married couples and singles, we are a fun-loving group seeking to apply God's word to our daily lives. We have a facilitated lesson based on specific topics, meeting at 9:15 a.m. Open discussion is welcome, but not required. We enjoy getting together as a group outside of class for fun and fellowship. Class is taught by David J. Hale The Living Stones (Room 123): This class is held at 10:45 a.m. We teach a Biblical worldview that will impact our lives, our families, and society at large. Our purpose is two-fold: to increase our knowledge of the Bible and to apply its truths to our daily lives, with the goal of becoming confident in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Class is taught by Dan Price. Crusaders Class (Room 123): The Crusaders are a class primarily made up of senior adults, meeting at 9:15. A Standard Publishing guide based on the New International Version is used to study the books of the Bible. (Large print material is available.) At the beginning of each class, we take a few minutes to fellowship and address prayer needs of class members. Class gatherings outside of church include picnics, parties and service projects. Class is taught by Melvin Richardson, Jerry Edlin, and Wayne Cornwell. Joy Class (Room 204): The Joy Class consists of an average of 30-40 people. This class utilizes a traditional approach to Bible study using the King James Version of the Bible. This class consists of married couples, singles and widows, and meets at 9:15 a.m. Class is taught by H. David Hale. Koinonia (Room 202): We are Christians with a common desire to learn more about God and Jesus through the study of the Holy Bible. We encourage open discussion in order to broaden and personalize our study together. Our ultimate goal is to straighten and define our walk with Jesus as we seek the gift of salvation. Our class meets at 10:45. Class is taught by Darin Long. Cornerstone Class (Room 208): The Cornerstone class is a vibrant Sunday school class comprised of spiritually growing adults. We are seeking God's will and His purpose for our lives. We meet at 9:15 for a time of fellowship, prayer and Bible study. A facilitated lesson is used to stimulate open discussion. This class also meets outside of church hours for fellowship and fun. Class is taught by Jeff Stout. Foundations Class (Room 204) We are a diverse mixture of men, women, singles, and couples of all ages who are seeking to strengthen our faith and grow in Christ as we re-discover the basic truths of the Bible. Our highly conversational class brings an increased knowledge and understanding of God's word. We meet on Sundays at 10:45. Class is taught by Stan Holstein. Solid Rock (Room 202) Our newest class, Solid Rock began with a group of new folks who started together in Discovering Fern Creek (our study for new folks). This class has now become a regular Sunday study, and would love to have you join us on Sunday mornings. Our class is a natural mix of folks of all ages and life situations. Led by Gary Maier, we meet at 9:15 on Sunday mornings.
