If you are going to be Middle School this school year 2010-2011 this retreat is for you, ESPECIALLY if you are just entering middle school. During this weekend we will be spending two days having a blast together @ Gatti- land and bowling. After that we will be hanging out at White Mills C.C. swimming, worshipping, playing games, and spending the night. Cost is $20 and it must be turned in no later than July 25th. We are leaving church Sunday @ 3 p.m. and arriving back @ 2 p.m.
Block Parties @ FCCC
On Aug. 4th our church is having block parties all over the city, but student ministry will be having one large block party @ Ralph Pickering’s!!! Bring your swim stuff or clothes to just chill in and have a blast. We’ll be grilling out too so arrive hungry and ready to have some fun. 6-8:30 p.m.
Student Ministry Leadership Weekend Aug. 7-8th
We’re Going to “the NATI,” yes Cincinnati. We will be leaving church at 3:30 p.m. and will be spending the evening together talking about ministry and how we can use our resources to make an impact this year. We will be back Sunday afternoon at about 2 p.m. This is really important for you to attend!!!! Because this trip is kind of costly I am asking that everyone pay at least $10 to help with our cost. Please let Josh know if you can or cannot attend.
MUCK NIGHT Aug. 18th
If you haven’t been to Muck Night than you’re totally missing out and need to be here Aug. 18th from 6-8 p.m. Wear old clothes, no spaghetti straps please, and old shoes. WARNING: YOU WILL BE INCREDIBLY MESSY WHEN YOU GO HOME…. but it’s fun.
30 Hour Famine Oct. 8-9th (High School Only)
Count to three: 1…2…3. Every three seconds someone dies because of malnutrition. Doesn’t seem fair does it? We are called to Love God, Love people, and Serve Both. And that’s what we are going to be doing Oct 8-9th.. Here’s the details: 1) Sign up 2) Raise money 3) Show up 4) Don’t eat for 30 hrs 4) Serve 5) Have a blast 6) Eat together 7) Leave. 5th Quarter Oct. 22
Making its 3rd appearance and getting better every year, 5th quarter is going to be sweet. This is our outreach event where we want everyone to bring as many friends as you can. We will have inflatables, corn hole, music, and food. Door’s will open @ 10:00 p.m. and we will shut-down the evening @ 1 a.m. So whether you attend a game or not, come hand out at 5thQuarter.
